Hi!

Welcome to my site. I write interesting, and different things on my website every week.

Souls(Chapter One)

Not every story has a happy ending, an ending where the hero is victorious, and the evil doer is punished. Not every story is told, heard, or seen. However every story no matter how small, or insignificant, true or false, fact or fiction, continues beyond the end. Our story begins with Meus Isdor.

Running up the stairs he could hear the creaking of the steps behind him, and the voices of his pursuers telling him to stop. He still had no clue what was going on, but knew stopping wouldn’t result in anything good. Upon reaching the top floor he ran towards his apartment, which like always had the door unlocked. As he ran in he heard his mother calling him, but he couldn’t stop. He ran towards the balcony and once there locked the door behind him. He looked and tried to find a fire escape but to his dismay it was broken. Across from his house not too far away was another building with ledges, and places he could try and get to. One spot in particular caught his attention- an balcony about 6 feet lower, and a foot to the right. It was 15 feet away, and if he could make the jump, there would be nothing his pursuers could do. But if he failed he would tumble hundreds of feet downward to his demise. The boy climbed up the balustrade surrounding his balcony and jumped off. His arms outstretched, eager to grab hold of something to save himself. As he leapt the thoughts of whether he would make it or not coursed through his mind, his friends, his family, and all the things he had done in his life came to mind. And then he fell.

I myself was no stranger to injustice having experienced so much of it, but this was most unjust of them all, to me and the boy. A light of hope had appeared, just for a slight second indeed, before it was devoured by the dark cruel void of the universe.

Happy Father's Day
